Re: Plastic Plants

Thank you everyone! My crabs have had a large, but very bare, crabitat for years, so I'm sure they will be happy with a change of scenery

Re: Ultratherm

Thank you so much! I have 6-7 inches of sub in my tank. Can't wait to try an ULtratherm, heat lamps and tiny zoo med heating pads have become very annoying. :?

Re: Humidity issue/moss pit

We used pesticides around the border of our house over a year ago, but the moss grows about 2 yards away from the house, so i think it's safe

Re: Humidity issue/moss pit

I have a glass lid tho, and it's held humidity pretty well for the last year and a half. I am now misting 4 times during the day only to wake up in the morning with the humidity being border-line 70%. On the subject of moss, how long/what temp would you recommend baking it? And i thought sphagnum an...

Humidity issue/moss pit

So I have two main things to cover here... 1. My tank is really struggling with humidity, and this morning and a few days ago I woke up to it being slightly below 70%... not so good. The heat of my tank is about 83 degrees, which (I think) is good. 2. I really want to do a moss pit, and i have heard...

Peanut Butter Problem

Soooo, I know a lot of crab owners talk about how much their crabs like peanut butter. But, unfortunately for them, I am highly allergic to peanuts. As in, If i smell it, i could end up in the hospital. So I can't give the crabs peanut butter. But, I have this stuff called wowbutter, smells and tast...

Re: Shell Horizons, Inc

Actually, there is a forum with an up and running shell box, it's a box full of shells, and they have a mailing list, and so they mail this box to someone on the list, that person trades some of their shells for whats in the box, and then ships it on to the next person. It's really cool!
