Moonbeam, our hermies lean up against EACH OTHER! No one of them EVER sleeps alone. They particularly love cozying up together in the moss pit [emoji4]

What's the best source for hermit crab adoption? We are new at keeping hermies ... the first one was caught by a local fisherman; felt so sorry for him, in light of the conditions in which he was kept. The next three were mail-ordered by one of our sons, who realized how lonely crab #1 was becoming....

P.S. They have access to lots of shells (we live five minutes from the beach), so it's not a shell fight. Don't know what to think.

We've had a lovely family of four baseball-size PPs, who all get along well. Last week we got a phone call from a pet store with six medium-large PPs, asking if we wanted them, as there were no buyers interested in hermies of that size. Got to the store within hours, but one of the crabs was already...
