Often times my biger crabs seem to be to big for their shells and it isn't a big deal. But your guy is hanging about way to far. More protein would be good, I use freeze dried shrimp and krill. Also hard boiled egg is a favorite. Also with the freeze dried stuff u can feed it everyday. And raw unsalted nuts.

Why use Tupperware when u can get a nice imitation marble or rock reptile water dish. Very sturdy, not even my jumbos knock them over
