Re: Lettuce or red grapes?

All grapes are okay, just try to avoid grapes that have been exposed to pesticides, if possible.

Lettuce is safe, however it isn't on the list simply because it's not a popular food, since it's 96% water.

Re: (Just out of curiosity) Handling Hermies?

Yikes!!! I've only been pinched once and it was only for a second because sebastian felt like he was going to fall even though I have him firm in my hand Thankfully, I stayed calm and remembered what I read about placing your hand on a flat surface. Even though it took awhile, I'm glad I didn't try...

Re: (Just out of curiosity) Handling Hermies?

I rarely handle mine, except for ID, checking for molting signs, and cleaning. Hobbles is the only one that seems to like being handled, most are just neutral about it. I tend to avoid picking up Heisenberg though, he's pinched the palm of my hand for over 2 minutes before xP

2 Un-named Micros (Anyone have suggestions) - Molting for 2 weeks.
Heisenberg - Hiding.
Tesla - Discovered the new leaf pit and is now eating the new leaf pit

Re: Hermit Crab Anatomy

Just did some more image searches, I was wrong. http://www.hermitcrabpatch.com/v/vspfiles/assets/images/hermit_crab_profile+1.jpg I stand corrected on the gills, I apologize for that. I wish there was more research into hermit crabs, I've noticed lots of information (such as thorough diagrams) to be...

Re: Foods Collected Outside - Safe/Preparation?

Thank you all for the help. I'm definitely going to try for the meat and exoskeletons. The grass is in an area away from houses and fields, so I'll try that as well. As for the snails, my dad sprays ant pesticides around the house. I'll see if I can find some in the woods about a quarter of a mile a...
