Why Do They Not Swim
I have 2 6x6x6 SW & FW pools each with air stones, but pretty much the only time any of the crabs actually submerge is when they accidentally fall in. Tank Broken Need Move Molters - HELP!

This includes moving the substrate, etc. We have 11 crabs, 4 are up, 1 other I know isn't molting. The others honestly no clue. I fear the crack is goin...

Re: Isopods/sow bugs
I just grabbed about 25 from the front yard today and popped them in the tank. From what I read if you want to have them breed it doesn't take very long to get a whole bunch.

lowes will custom cut a piece of plexiglass as a great shield to cover your screen on top, I just sit mine on top- helps a great deal and much easier to see through than Saran Wrap

Re: Planning the 55 G build and need your expertise
I used what I call a modified false bottom. I used PVC pipe - 4 columns that sit below the water area, that have no - very little substrate in them. On top of that sits my plexi water area platform. If there is ever a flood, I could pull up the plexi and vacuum out that half of the tank from those 4...

Re: Lamp & Humidifier Placement Help Needed
I do have an ultratherm that covers pretty much the whole back of the tank and then one in the left side behind the cork wall.
