I'm not exactly sure lol I bought some from whole foods so I guess I'll know in a day or two if they start to sprout

Re: Chia / Flax Sprout Carpet
Maybe once they sprout you could separate it into smaller chunks?

Re: Burlap Ribbon Safe?
I love all these ideas! I was going to hang it across my tank to give them extra climbing spots

Chia / Flax Sprout Carpet
I'm thinking about making a chia/flax seed carpet in some spots of my crabitat for the crabbies to snack on and to add some color to my tank. Has anyone had any problems with feeding chia or flax sprouts to your crabs? http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/03/19/6d127d82e86e492dae8587b1b05e6ebf.jpg h...

Adding Substrate?
I've had my tank set up for about 6 weeks now and the substrate is about 5 inches deep. i know it should be six or more. Male/Female?
Hi all! I'm about 6 weeks in to being a HC owner. I have six crabs at the moment and I've just been randomly assigning names and gender. How can I tell which gender my crabbies are? http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/03/19/8d07239d97ed20ac49bc48c75230167d.jpg http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/0...

Re: Missing Crab
That is her pictured above. I dont see any trace of her in her shell and it hasn't moved at all since i found it like that. I wasn't sure if i should dig around the area, bc I'd have to move a log nearby to reach the area and one of my other crabs is burrowed and/or molting in that same area.

Re: Missing Crab
1. What kind of substrate is used in your tank and how deep is it? Eco Earth 35% /Playsand Mix 65% 2. Do you have gauges in the tank to measure temperature and humidity? If so, where are they located and what temperature and humidity do they usually read? 55 gal. w/ humidity and temp gauge in middle...
