Gorgeous natural shell. Great job. I found most of the time I take paint off the planted shells the the natural shell is very pretty.

Re: LiveHermitCrabs.com
She asked me if I still wanted her to send them or if I wanted a refund. She must be doing that for people who ordered longer ago, like a first come first serve thing. My issue is I ordered with my bank card, and now I have a different card and number. So l can't get a refund! I'm worried about them...

I just received an email from her today, I responded and she responded moments later. Has anyone else heard from her? (my order was placed back in may)

Re: Piper took a tumble from the top hammock, how bad is it?
Mine take tumbles all the time. I admit I get worried to, but I'm sure all is fine. I believe the worst could be them cracking their shell, but it would have to be from a really high point to a really hard surface. Like what hernitcrabdc mentioned. It funny he keeps doing it. Depending on how many t...

Re: Showing off revamp of my 75/80 gal tank!
The stuff really is great. It seems to be able to stick really well to any surface, and hold up in the humidity and heat. But when we were redoing the tank we had a different climbing wall taped up with the stuff and it was easy to remove. So best of both worlds I guess. Haha

Re: Showing off revamp of my 75/80 gal tank!
Looks good! I like the cork on the right wall. How did you attach it to the tank? Thanks! And its a type of fabric tape. I found that stuff by accident and it works better than anything else I've ever tried to use to tape a climbing wall or something else to the glass. Look for it in your fabric/se...

Showing off revamp of my 75/80 gal tank!
So my husband and I got a bunch of stuff for our hermies in; ultratherm uth, kitchen organizer, bath caddy, shells, ect.. So today we got down to business and redid our tank! I really do love how it turned out. Seems to be more space for them but also more stuff? :?: Let me know what y'all ...

Re: Support kitchen organizer??
I had this happen recently to support the bottom level where I have a similar situation going on. To counter it I utilized a piece of plastic canvas like I use for my ramps, wider than the shelf, so that the legs rest on the canvas, covered it with a bit of sub to mask it a bit, and left it in plac...

Support kitchen organizer??
Hey everyone, quick question. Doing a lot to my crank tat today and I have kitchen shelf organizer. The description said the legs were 10" but, of course, they are not they are more about 6" so I want/need something to support the legs of the organizer in the sand so it doesn't just slowly sink into...

Something must be happening with the larger area Petcos' in Texas. I just got some from a Petco in Houston, that I don't believe had them before.

Re: UTH... I'm totally confused on them!
There are a few things you can do to help your temp if you decide to order online. You mentioned already having a UTH but not currentyusing it? Placing that on the tank (above the substrate on the the back outside of tank) will definately help. Look at the box it is in, or look up the UTH you have o...

Re: New crab owner and need some pointers and or help!
You need at least 6" of substrate (and more is always better). The amount of substrate needed also goes up with the size of the crab, at least 3x the size of the crab.
