E's at petstore
Quick! I'm at the petstore and was wondering if 2 E's and 5 pps in a 40 gal breeder would be to much?

Crab not moving, no smell.
1. What kind of substrate is used in your tank and how deep is it? A mixture of sand and eco earth about 6 inches deep 2. Do you have gauges in the tank to measure temperature and humidity? If so, where are they located and what temperature and humidity do they usually read? One of the gauges in the...

Re: Green at the Tip of my HCs Leg!?
I recommend taking out the calcium sand and the reptile sand (as they don't allow crabs to molt as well and can cause other problems) and replace it with moist Playsand or Eco earth (or mix both.) Re: Deformities using one substrate?
In all honesty, I think you should take a lot of what the Instagram crab community claims with a grain of salt. Sure, there are some accounts that really know what they are doing and have good info (some are even members here) but a lot of them are just making stuff us as they go. I agree, whenever...

Deformities using one substrate?
There is a lot of controversy in the instagram hermit crab community on whether or not using one substrate like just eco earth or just sand leads to deformities when they molt. Most say that using on substrate leads to deformities, I say it does not. Can anyone clear it up to me if it does/does not....

Re: New project - 3 leopard geckos with severe MBD...
I just saw a rescue like this on instagram on the account @sillytoadgirl, the poor gecko was so skinny and had 3 layers of shed on them. It's so heartbreaking to see them like this

Such a cute Ecuadorian! I love his coloration.. I would drive that far for him too

Shrimp
I have a bag of raw frozen shrimp, the ingredients it has on it is just salt. Would it be okay for my crabs to eat? If so, do I feed it raw or cooked? Thanks

I wouldn't feel bad! You just saved a hermit crab! Plus you saved that lady's nephew from ending up with a dead hermit.
