Re: All three down for over three months now
I agree. We have to remember as they get bigger molts will be longer. All three of mine have been down since the week before Christmas and all of them have had successful molts with me over the past 3 years. We also have to remember just because they dig down they also may sit for a few weeks just t...

Re: Our crabs don't seem very happy in their crabitat
Another common problem I am seeing is please ,please refrain from picking them up and picking them up. This alone is also stressing these beautiful little creatures and will also kill them. Let them acclimate!

Re: So glad I found a forum!

Out went the critter keeper, pellets and small bowls for the PROPER Care of my babies and we are all doing great! I only have three and that is all I want at my age. They are all beautifully healthy and...

Re: Adopted Hermie... Not looking right
Thank-you for saving this precious baby! I worry when a child can be that heartless and cruel. I raised three kids and they ALL love and respect their pets. This is just heart breaking

Chirping while molting
I heard one make some light croaking noises. I have two buried at the bottom in front of the tank. Their windows are covered so they have complete darkness. is this something to be concerned about. I really hate to remove the dark towel I have wrapped around the bottom of the tank for no reason. Tha...

Hello!
I had the same problem when I just used Eco Earth by itself. Mix it up with playsand will help solve the problem. More sand than Eco earth Good luck!

Possible Molter and Digging
Hello Everyone! I am brand new to the forum and have a question. I have a rescue who may be possibly molting as of today. However he is not dug down very far in the substrate. My question is will he be safe. One of my PP's was starting to dig down right above him and that has me worried. He has been...
