The Final Raptor Crab
Charlie has sadly passed away. It's unknown the cause at the moment, but I believe it's pretty obvious. He never changed out of that stupid painted shell and when he died I found he was stuck in it. Anyway, I'm posting this just to let everyone know. Heaven just earned itself a Charlie. I miss you, ...

The Final Raptor Crab
I recently bought a crab from Petco in a (gasp) painted shell. I really hope she/he changes soon, but in the mean time, I'll tell you about him/her[emoji1]. His/her name is Charlie and he/she is, like my other crabs, named after the one of the four raptors in Jurassic World. http://images.tapatalk-c...

I would say that two of that size would be fine, but no more. Just make sure Mr Crabs has a friend ASAP! He's gonna be so happy! [emoji3]

Re: Little one made it!
Well, a name could be "Lucky", but I feel like that would be a bit generic. Maybe something interesting, like possibly "Survivalist" or even something not related to situation at all. Maybe, "Penny" or

Blue molted!
One of my three PPs, Blue, has just come up from a molt. A month ago he looked like this: http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10/28/f36bf13356ee9c9adc50de0c94bd4f8d.jpg But now he looks like this: http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10/28/a9692daa8a0506c11810c0144b6152df.jpg I say he improved a lot! Re: First molt ever is successful!
He looks great! In the future just be aware that you don't have to isolate crabs for molting if they've buried in your tank and have plenty of sub and space. :D It's best to just let them do their own thing, they know what to do. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk I'll be sure to do that! I just g...

First molt ever is successful!
I haven't posted to this forum since it went down temporarily, but I just wanted to share about my molting success. My PP, Delta, was in extreme need of a molt. He was missing a leg from stress (pet store issues), and I knew he was going to molt eventually. This is him before he molted: http://image...

Meet Echo! He's my newest crab, in which I got from a terrible pet store who uses gravel as substrate, and recommended us to buy it too. They had about 40 crabs, and only 3 in natural shells. My cousin got 2 of them, and I got one. Here he is: http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/01/75b0c2acdbb32aed...

My Rescued Dinosaur Crab Children
Here are some pictures of my hermit crabs that I rescued from a neglecting beach store. Their names are Blue and Delta, named after the velociraptors from Jurassic World. Here they are: http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/28/22d4a0ff4300cecc3c357a642e679d32.jpg When I asked the store worker a simpl...
