I recently bought a crab from Petco in a (gasp) painted shell. I really hope she/he changes soon, but in the mean time, I'll tell you about him/her[emoji1]. In the future just be aware that you don't have to isolate crabs for molting if they've buried in your tank and have plenty of sub and space. :D It's best to just let them do their own thing, they know what to do.
