HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Yeah one of my crabs streaked and it was pretty freaky He is ok now though (thanks to this website)

Yeah no problem I assume she will eventually change out of the painted shell so pay attention and when she does, take it out so no other hermit crabs change into it

She probiblyn just decided it was too small or something my crabs have done that. If you want to pursuade her into a shell you can wash it out with salt water it works for my crabs (or atleast gets them interested.)

My crabs love freeze dried shrimp and krill! Also any kind of fruit. I alos experamented with a noodle in their tank and someone dragged it away and put it under their coconut hide. ITS ALL MINE! ALL MINE!!! YOU SHAL NOT TOUCH IT ITS MINE!!!!!!

OMG i love the crab thats "dreaming big" because i had a crab that changed into a huge shell and just couldnt handle it he quickly changed back out.

In the summer i bring my crabs outside and just let them crawl around wild. Only 1-2 at a time though otherwise i might loose track of them. I think they love all the new sights and smells and all the room to run around!

yah sometimes when i used to have only small crabs they would move big rocks. They had to have been working together because they were all small or micro!

2 of them came to me that red, but twilight (the one in the white turbo) came to me completely tan. He had a couple good molts i guess so... if you r wondering what i feed them i give them fresh food dried food and homade hermie cookies
