Crab-In-A-Cup at Wal-Mart Stores!
Oh, I forgot. I asked JTM for a slightly different template. I figured this one would be slightly easier to follow rather than a full bio where we have to search the info. I'm just trying to make it easy for all! I'm probably going to have to ask for an email listed in there too as mo3 did. This wil...
Crab-In-A-Cup at Wal-Mart Stores!
Hey jenok, I'm so sorry to hear about your situation. Loosing them is hard enough, but having to give them up can be even harder. I would like to help, but I'm going to need some basic information. What I would like to do is try and copy information from a post you wrote onto HCA and a few other sit...
Crab-In-A-Cup at Wal-Mart Stores!
I will be putting your listing on HCA in hopes that some fellow Texans will catch your ad and help.

Fresh water aquarium advice
If you want a certain type of fish that can only tolerate a pH of a specific range that isn't met with your water source there are two easy ways to buffer it. Panty hoes filled with peat moss will lower pH. A couple teaspoons of baking soda will raise pH.

I have been letting mine breed. I don't know when I will put them in. Probably after my sub change. I use salt water to mix, so I don't know if it will harm them. I assume it would. When I do my change I want to wash out the old sub to get the salt out then I'll add new and rehydrate it with only fr...

FFA Camp and more
Well the past week has been pretty eventful. I was up washing clothes at 3 in the morning Monday to get ready for a 5 day camp. My brother decided to do his clothes and bed sheets so that threw me off for two hours. I went to bed and began again around 7 and left at 9. I was a 3 1/2 hour ride up to ...

Jumbo Crab tank needs?
quote:In the last five years I've lost three jumbos to bad molts they just didn't have it in them to pull through and a couple of them were actually tangled up in their own old exo because they couldn't wiggle out in one go and the old exo bonded to the new trapping them underground. This exact thin...

Salt
I think there was a study done on it. If you look on the back there are a bunch of odd ingredients that are unnecessary in the salt. End the end, I believe it was quite similar to table salt, it just didn't have synthetic iodine.

Jumbo Crab tank needs?
Yes, to accommodate their size if they are true jumbos, you are going to need a 55. Their dishes will be big and deep as well.

I can only think of one health store that would have them. I don't know if GNC will have them or not....

If you are going to go with a 20 long then I recommend also looking at a 29gallon. It has the same foot print of a 20L but it is taller. I know that a 29 cost about $35 at Meijer. I would shoot around $40 at the petstore. So a 20 may cost around $30? IDK exactly. Can you wait until the next dollar p...

@finalftansyxii, Yes that is your problem. Salt in general will burn plant roots. Typically after winter grass will be dead along roadsides and will take a couple weeks later to reestablish because of salt used on the roads to keep the ice and snow melted. You may have to get a small shallow contain...

To answer you question more descriptively they need marine grade salt. Stuff you mix into fish tanks. Instant Ocean and Oceanic are top of the line in salt water mixes. Usually you can find Instant Ocean in any pet store that has a section for fish.

Setting up a fish tank.
I do have a slight update on things, and it isn't too good. I think I'm going to have to completely put a hold on this. I was looking at moms tires the other day on her car and the inner threads of the tire are showing! Basically it's worn down to the inside of the tire! She has no tread on the inne...
