I also hold my net in place by using 3M hooks upside down on the outside of the tank. I just have the plexiglass lid velcro shut over it. To raise your humidity, use a spray bottle and spray all of the net each day..that boosts the humidity immediately and works very well.

Not sure about what Walmart has, but I got my net from Michael's craft store. It's just an old fishing net that they package and resell for decor.
