ive relocated my small zoomed I dont use much anymore multiple times just using a plastic spatula to get it off the tank. If its giving resistance, heat it up with a blow dryer.

Re: 55 gallon redo
We have 5 rescue cats, and let me tell you we cannot bring sand, tanks, crabs or anything else in this place without several inspectors "helping"! All of the tanks are always a work in progress; we have access to a friend's land that has tons of never been treated or touched wood so every time the ...

Finally got to add some new goodies to crabitat. Picked up the vine, reptihammock and the plastic grass. Not sure how well the "grass" will work out. havent seen anyone wander around yet. Someone did dig under it already. http://s2.postimg.org/txpfzjqo9/image.jpg http://s7.postimg.org/5yrol4ajv/imag...

Re: Help with heating
I have a new 20 gallon tank and was wondering what brand of heater you have for yours that is 11x24 inches. How warm is it in your tank. I currently am using a heating pad and it keeps a 10 gallon at 83 degrees but only 79-80 in the 20. Want to get a good heater but don't want to break the bank. Th...

Re: Sand major dry? Help!
Its just a screen lid, but yea I'll try doing that also. I have a screen lid on my 20 H. With a bubbler in both pools, I have two hand towels on top. They cover the areas not covered by a 10g aquarium lid that i use as a light. With the bubblers and towels, i just moisten my moss pits once a weke a...

Re: Help with heating
Place the mat on the back.
6x11 might be a bit too small though, needs to cover as much of the back above the sub as possible. I have an 11x23 on my 20H.
85% humidity is fine.
