Thanks and yes. Gotta mist it first or the sand will just fall thru but once is all it takes as long as humidity in the crabitat is good.

Thanks, landlubber. It does keep the outside of the dishes cleaner, which makes changes easier, but they still go swimming and poop in it and get substrate in it.

You could try Smoothing all the surface sand out and then when you get up in the morning, look for little hermit tracks.

Oh its a happy Thanksgiving indeed! Toby the 1st is up from his molt! He has been down for about 6 1/2 weeks i think. He looks so handsome. My crabs will dig holes and drag shells down into them. Dont know why, but maybe your crabbie is a part of the same olympic crabbie sport. Shell burrying.

How many UTH's on one plug? I already have two big UTH's on my tank, and i was thinking of also adding th little one that i had from my 10 gal. There are no plugs near the tat, so i had to run an extension cord over. Is that too much load on the cord?

If you have extra shells switch them out. Maybe fresh shells will attract the offender away from the defender.
