I have the same corner shelf and i love it too. I used to keep shells on the second shelf but my crazies just kept knocking them off so i moved them to ground. Now i put treats on the top along with a hide and cuttle bone on the middle shelf. They wont let me put anything under because they like it ...

If a crab falls in the 'tat and no one is awake to hear it, does it make a sound? Lol

My pp changes shells whenever I put a new one in. My largest one Mho seems to enjoy shells that look too big on him. He really likes his new shell, fit for a jumbo. Mho is a large though. :) I have one PP that wears shells much too big for him. I have a colony that ranges from small to almost jumbo...

You can "hand water" her too, if she will let you. Put a nice big droplett of water on your hand next to her little pincher. She might drink it up.

Mine wont go near the deep pools either. I felt like such a good crab mommy when i upgraded to the deeper pools but they have been totally clean at every change. I know that painted shells are bad for them and you probably cant wait for him to change so you can take it away, but i gotta say its funny that he is dressed like batman, hanging upside down in there.
