It's about 6in. I want to add more to make it 8. I just to leave him alone as this is his first molt with me or he is distressing from PPS.

I didn't dig him up. I just poked around and felt the crunch of the shell. It was bizarre to me that such a large shell he was able to bury without a trace. I have to wait now on finishing things in the tank until he comes back up.

I didn't want to have to hunt down the smell if I couldn't find him. I had the flashlight and turning over all furniture looking.

Hermitcrabdc thanks so much. I looked at the oats and no sugars and have eggs boiling for them too. So that is tonight's diet. I will add another brick of substrate tomorrow. I can tell my humidity is up because tank fogging up. Will be calibrating tomorrow as well to check out temp. In the meantime...

I worked on the crabitat this morning. My crabbier are now happy crabbies. I am figuring out I have on that like to switch shells so I now need to increase my number of shells.

Probably a mesh lid and wrapping it. Once I upgrade this weekend I will post new pics. Need to clean tank too when adding substrate.
