I just thought I would quickly leave an update here to say that they all came up just fine!!

Thank you so much for letting me know; that gives me a lot of relief! Glad to hear it was a success for you! I did notice that the one who was up has now gone down (probably needs to de-stress). We have about one more move yet and then we should be good.

Right now we are completely re-carpeting the upstairs. This means the crab tank had to be moved. Thank you so much for your reply!! I did find some more on the chicken and eggshell just a few moments ago. So you would assume they are food mites then? Would crab mites go on food at all or only stay on crabs( too my understanding, they only go on crabs)?

I checked the mite forum and these look like the food mites, but I want to be sure. I saw them the other night and panicked. I am very concerned because they showed up shortly after I got new crabs (sadly a couple of the micros succumbed to PPS :( :cry:). Also, will mites bug a molting crab? I have ...
