I have not seen my hermit crab out at night

Ok I got three hermit crabs 2-2 1/2 months ago and when I put one of the hermit crab in he started digging. I was guessing he was molting or stress but he has not come out yet. At this point I am worried. Its almost 3 months. and is is not that big HELP

I just bought three hermit crabs and im having trouble keeping the humidity correct. The humidity goes down to 50-55 at the least (maybe lower) and 90-95 the most. I spray the tank(not the crabs) and i goes up to the 90's again. I have a 15 gallon tank with 5 inches of sand castle consistency sand. ...
