HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I use bricks of eco earth mixed with playsand. 5 parts sand to one part eco earth. You can get it in pet stores such as Petco or petsmart or online through Amazon or ebay. The playsand you can get a 50 lb bag for about $3-$4 dollars...I get mine at Lowes. I also add in oyster shell into my substrate...

Have any of you guys that have isopods in your tank had problems about them 'getting out' infesting the rest of your house? That is my biggest fear about putting these type of things in my tank haha.

The last one has 5 'ridges/stiches' on his BP. He is also missing his outer leg. The other two's outer leg covers their BP so I can't really tell how many they have...I am going to guess 5 or 6?, but I can see them as they're walking about. I had to get out a jewelry loupe to see haha
