Re: Our new addition to the family

So cute! And the shell size thing never ceases to amaze me: the smaller crabs apparently want to grow up faster so they choose too large shells whereas the big guys are in denial that they're a size 16 and try to squeeze themselves into a size 8 :hlol: ! Right! It floors me! Me Es look like they ar...

Re: What to feed my crabs?

Mine love coconut, pork chops, dried shrimp, raw shrimp, scallops, kiwi, bananas (the most favorite of all) they will eat a little bit of raspberries, apples and blueberry. I just bought fresh greens, I hope they like them!

Our new addition to the family

Image You can see her little face but she is a PP. Her shell is way to big for her so I am hoping she will change shells soon. We named her Bones (one of my favorite shows lol)

Re: How long will a small hermit take

All 4 of my small Ruggies molted for about 1-2 months, came up for a few days and ate, then dug down again for another 2 months. 1 of them came up last month and another came up a few days ago so don't freak out if they take longer than "normal". They all looked relatively healthy too when I purcha...

Small E is up set the Big E dug down

My small E does not like to be away from her side kick for any long period of time. If he climbs into a moss pit she is right behind him (reminds me of a younger sibling chasing after the older one lol) I woke up the morning and my big is had dug down and my little one kept digging the sand up aroun...

How long will a small hermit take

My small PP has dug down (very glad) when I brought her home she was missing parts to almost all her walking legs ( thats why I brought her home). How long does a small hermit stay down? She was swimming in the fresh water a LOT when I brought her home and she changed shells with in the 1st 24 and h...
