POLISHING UP a shell
Sometimes after a quick boil or just receiving a dull looking shell, you can get some clean and shiny again. I got the idea today after buffing my nails, so i tried it on a shell and it worked on the turbo. I started with a coarse grit file and lightly ruffed it up. I then took it down to another fi...

I now also have a 40 breeder, 30 and a 20 long on stand by if needed. I have several 10 & 5's as iso tanks. I have a tota...

Re: Fountain, handmade, Anyone made one? I'm thinking it!
OK. Thanks I will keep that in mind and pay close attention. The one I'm making won't be that large and less then a gallon of water, by far...whatever leaks out will just get soaked up by the top soil I'm sure. I will watch the water color and smell and taste for. Copper.

Hey. What you described is what I'm doing yes. Concrete is OK, that's great.
Anyone have any pics of past products? What I get time I will find some pics to show what I've got in mind.
Yes I'm wanting a slow cascading effect!

Fountain, handmade, Anyone made one? I'm thinking it!
Has anyone made one? With pictures? I've noticed a lot of pictures are no longer up on the older forums, and some newer. Anyway, I am thinking of building one. I have already got the small pump and other odds & ends. I've got bamboo, tons of shells and river rocks. Now for the general ideas and set ...

Re: 75 Gallon Tank with Topper (and possible adoptions)
Hi everyone, just wanted to give a quick update on the state of the adoption as I've been getting a lot of messages. I have found someone who I'm meeting with to discuss the adoption and I believe they will end up taking the crabs. I'm sorry to those who were interested because I'm sure you are all...

Re: Are Snap Pea Plants Safe?
What about a passionflower vine? Passiflora is toxic. How about pothos or lipstick vine (aeschynanthus radicans)? Both do well in a warm, humid environment. My question is, how will you grow plants in a hermit crab medium? I'm wondering if plants deemed safe for omnivorous reps also work for hermit...

OK, thank you! Well I mixed all the peppers together, so I guess it would come down to what's left.

Re: Trees on my land to use MULBERRY? Acorn, Maple
ANOTHER QUESTION...I'm not seeing it on either list...what about peppers? Green, yellow, and red sweet peppers? I would think yes, as for the colors alone! Also hot ones, mild like local farm grown, jalapeño & red pepper, there not hot, but a touch of spice.?.?. Thanks
