If so, where are they located and what temperature and humidity do they usually read? -I have a temperature gauge that reads 80 most...

Thing in substrate? Help
Hello everyone. Before I begin, I'm not sure where to post this but I chose here since it kind of fits? Just now I was checking my crabs and I noticed this weird...thing next to my food dish. It's a reddish color similar to my big crab, who is showing signs of molting, and it's also shaped kind of l...

Re: Where to Buy Shells?
Joannes can be a great place to buy bags of green turbos for around 5 bucks. Naples and Richards sea shells are great online stores to check out. I also suggest checking out the preferred shell guide stickied to the top of the shell section, it's pretty helpful. Purple pinchers like round opening s...

Where to Buy Shells?
Probably a dumb question, but I really don't know where to find any! I'm pretty new to this crabbing thing. I'm doing good so far, but I cannot find the right shells. I have two PP's I'm pretty sure. Petco or Petsmart don't sell the right kinds of shells for them, and if they do it's pretty small. O...

Crab Bullying/One Not Eating?
Hello! It's been awhile since I've posted here lol. So about 9 months ago I adopted two hermit crabs, Basil and Skelly(i'll post pictures at the end in case anyone also wants to help me figure out what breed Skelly is). They're still alive(I'm pretty proud of myself) and they're crabitat is set up w...

Crabs haven't come up?
I've posted on here a few times, I just worry a lot. I have two crabs, and recently I got 6in of substrate. I give them freshwater and saltwater, hermit crab food, etc. Ever since I put the substrate in, which was about a week ago, they haven't come up??? Not even to eat. I can tell they haven't bec...

Re: How should I decorate?
I love the rock staircase/hide you have in the corner, where did you find it? I saw one in a petstore display tank, but they didn't carry them for sale. I also have a 10 gallon, space gets eaten up fast by pools, hides, etc., doesn't it? Our tank came with a big coconut hide and my husband picked u...

Is my hermit crab stuck?
I just got a huge brick of coco fiber today. They're tank finally has enough substrate! ....or does it??? I'll provide a picture below, it's a ten gallon tank. I have freshwater and saltwater available, as well as food (just fed them cheese, Skelly loved it!) plenty of shells, something for them to ...
