need suggestions for climbing surfaces
I had a sort of hammock thing made of rope, but it keeps growing mold. I was wondering if there were any better alternatives? I also can't get fake foliage to stick to the tank for very long (I've only used the kind with suction cups).

I have a stubborn crab who won't change her wardrobe...
She's in a Cittarium pica (magpie) shell, which she wore home from the pet store, and it's probably the shell she was caught in. It's clearly too small for her now, and I have some appropriately-sized turbo shells sitting in her enclosure, but she doesn't seem interested. Could she just be so attach...

Re: Rate my 'tat!
I actually picked up the water dish for my black rat snake, but I ended up using something else for her. It's just been collecting dust for a year or so. I just got my crabs this past Christmas and decided to fix it up for them. I got it at the local pet store in the reptile dept... It's a Zoo Med "...

As for the shells, I had more in the enclosure, but they're way too big for either crab. All shells pictured are for my smaller c...

I'm pretty new to crabbing and want to know if this setup looks okay for my 2 babies: https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/320xq90/r/924/71RdQ3.jpg 30 gallon tank (36"L x 18"W x 12"H) with 7 inches of substrate (Eco Earth coconut fiber). The crabs are inhabiting the two shells on the far left ...

Re: Need advice regarding water dish
We tried the silicone/plexiglass idea. Seems to be water-tight, but haven't put it in the enclosure yet.

Need advice regarding water dish
Hi :) I have a Zoo Med "Repti Rock" Corner Bowl (12" long on each straight edge) and I want to put a divider in so that I can have one side with fresh water and one side with salt water. Does anyone have an idea how I could do this and have it water-tight, while still being safe for my crabs? I've i...
