Same. I had one and it was a non-stop mold farm. I tried treating it with salt water, vinegar, and hydrogen peroxide. At best all any of those did was stop the mold for a few days, but it always came back.PTCrabs wrote:I just threw one away due to mold![]()

From what I've read in the past they can be applied in either direction. I have mine with the copper strips facing outside (i.e. Not visible in the tank) and they are working fine.

Don't put the tank right in front of a window; if it is in direct sun, it can quickly get too hot. To prevent mold: Clean out any old food sources lying around.
