Dried seaweed is totally fine. As the last poster said- just make sure it's organic, dried seaweed with no other ingredients (it shouldn't be salted or have any herbs added). Most seaweed nori is good. I'd assume seaweed gathered off of the beach is fine if you're in an area where there isn't a lot ...

I love the hemp netting in the back corner draping down over the cave! That looks gorgeous! I also love how many little hide-outs there are within the crabitat! So many fun places for the hermies to 'explore'!

So cute! I've never had any of my crabs eating the substrate- but I've definitely had them be totally active and then just sort of 'zone out' for a minute and not move. I wonder if it's similar to a person sitting in a trance staring at something? We just say they're "meditating". I'm guessing what ...

I've purchased bulk "naturally harvested - untreated" seashell lots on Amazon, most of which have a lot of unusable (flat or no round opening) shells- but there are always a few really nice larger ones in the sets as well. They are usually sold in the craft section. Always make sure to look specific...
