HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Sorry it has been a long time but i have swiched to instant ocean

I have 4 crabs 3 of them went down with in weeks of each other it's been about two to three weeks since my one pp named ray came up. I have tride to introduce the crab that didn't molt(cha) in those weeks and ray but cha seems to be agressive or at least I think he is. If anyone knows about crab beh...

I do not know if it is the quality of the picture but a fat pouch AKA a "molt pouch" is black with white spots and those look like eggs. That is extremly unlikely.

How much instant ocean do I put into a 16.9 fl oz bottle of water I put a little less than a table spoon is that right?

Yes they are small there are alot of them and I wasn't sure if it was bad or not. I moved my crabs into the iso tank with a cucumber fresh water and a hut for the time being although it has only been 2 hours Thank you so much.

I just got the play sand from lowes and mixed it with coconut fiber 5parts sand 1part coco fiber and there are shiny pieces of stuff in the sand is it ok! please help!

I'm new to the HCA but I have a Question I use API Aquarium salt for my salt water Ive had one successful molt and working on one now. But I have recently seen a video on youtube that this salt is bad another video said it was good. I am so confused. I have also had my crabs for 4 months.

Well it is sometimes hard to tell but if they do not come up in about 4 days its most likely molt. I would say just wait it out and check up on them at night and if they are out they could just like to bury and sleep during the day.
