Re: Humidity without a humidifier
I would recommend using a ziplock freezer bag to seal the lid up quickly! I find that they're very easy to cut to size and tape down, and the plastic is thick enough that it provides a good seal. They're what I use to seal my own tanks.

Flukers Moist Food
Recently saw this food at the pet store when I was buying a new thermometer. Its Flukers moist diet for any animal that eats fruits and veggies. I did notice a few preservatives in it, but I'm not sure if they're harmful or not. http://www.petsmart.com/reptile/food/flukers-garden-blend-reptile-food-...

Re: Should I Iso?
I know two of the shells are green turbos. One is slightly larger than the other. The other is a light colored turbo shaped shell, but I can't remember what it's called... Plus there's another which is not something common for the PPs, but I tried it just to see what they think. The other shells are...

Should I Iso?
I recently had some crabs get in a squabble over shells. My medium crab has ended up in the smallest shell in the tank and it looks like he lost one leg, although he still has both pinchers and is mobile. I have put some new shells that are his size into the tank after this. I did dip the shells in ...

Re: How can I get my crabs to be more active of like me
This sounds like pretty normal crab behavior to me. Mine love digging and I'll often hear their shells clicking on the glass! Even after a year my crabs will often hide in their shells when I get close to their cage. Sometimes they act a little more skittish after molts, but overall they will hide w...

Vitamin Supplements in Store-bought Food?
So I'm looking to buy some new freeze-dried bloodworms for the crabbies and I have found one at Petsmart which lists only two ingredients: Bloodworms and Vitamin E supplements. I'm currently feeding some bloodworms for betta fish, and it only lists bloodworms as the only ingredient. I've looked at t...

Re: Bullying Around Food
I've got three small crabs (of which Maui's the largest of them) in a 10 gallon. They're growing very quickly though so I'll probably have to get a larger tank in the next month or so!
And I'll try the two dishes today and see if that helps.

Bullying Around Food
I changed up the crabitat today and notice some unusual behavior out of my largest crab, Maui. He was the first out after I scared everyone away by moving their hiding places, and naturally he headed to the food dish first. Shortly after, my medium crab, Fiji, came out and started eating too. They w...
