I just wanted to clarify that it is okay to boil the shells in salt water, it just can dull the polish. The crabs prefer "salty" shells as that is what they would have access to in the wild, as shells wash up on shore from the ocean. :D Thank you, people have tried to correct me for doing this but ...

I am happy to report that I decided to make a different shell shop...and this time I used some moss and put the shells on top...needless to say the baby was all over it! I am hoping he was browsing for a new shell...I am still waiting for him and football to change shells, I hate the painted ones. M...

So I have the digital hygrometer in my tank. I also have a UTH on the back of my tank above the substrate. I know I am supposed to place the hygrometer in the middle of the tank, but I do not have any place to put it due to the UTH on the back of the tank. I currently have it on side of the tank.......
