Re: Apple tree branches
I would assume if they can eat the fruit then the plant. Same would be said of commonly found plants in the same region/climate as the crabs live per your specific species of crab it would be safe as well. Again just a rule of thumb i use with plants in my tank.

Re: Normal Post-Molting Behavior?
Two of my crabs used to do that. Also when my larger crabs go under for a long time they will sometimes break the molt up for a few days eating and drinking water. Then back under for awhile longer. Also when everyone comes up the first few days all they want is sleep, shells, water [mainly sw but a...

Re: Apple tree branches
If they can eat the fruit they can eat the branch. That at least is true for herbivores. Only thing i caution is citrus but most of those animals dont do well with high levels of it. You can even buy small animal apple sticks. My five have tried them and most like them. Sent from my SPH-L720 using T...

Re: Stick Insects
Diapheromera femorata, common walking sick is the only one i know to be native to north American. I may be wrong but my main question would be more how will this improve your crabs life? I love mixed tanks. Just not the at a cost to either life. I cant see how the hermit crabs or sticks would do bet...

Re: Any of these look ok?
I used some dried hay matts but only didn't have issues with mold if i sprayed it with sw daily or soaked and dried it once a week or every other. Second i forgot i had mold. I used jute cord to wrapp my soap dishes and have been treating them similar. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171013/aa008...

Re: Any of these look ok?
Your just going to have to read the tags sadly and talk yo employees who are hopefully informed. Other than that there is no way to tell. I found some jutw cord at a craft store that was safe and wrapped my soap dishes. I would avoid rocks since they will add weight on the suction cups. I've even us...
