Re: What are your crabs up to?
My largest seems to have a new goal in life to escape his tank. I don't know how many times I have seen him try to climb the wall up to the top after he figured it out the first time. Then got mad when I rearanged the lay out so he couldn't. The lid is a old aquariam one with the plastic pieces pun...

Re: Please Help My Tiny Rescue Find a Shell
He prefers something about the painted one. It's size, shape, or ect. I know sometimes a crab with adjust the inside or "modify" it. So he may even spend some time between the two. Try and get a shell as close in size, shape and type to his current one.

Re: What to do with a 2.5
I plant with all my shells or use them in the water bowls for the crabs to climb on. I've successfully planted prickly pear cacti, bird seed and cat grass mixes with no problem. I'm having issues with tapatalk but I posted some on my Instagram odd_girl_jae. [Sorry if not aloud]

Re: Feeding Chicken
Next week I'll introduce a little more chicken, just so they become familiar with it. I just started feeding them meats. They are omnivores so they like a surprising amount of different foods. I use vital essential treats and they are all crab safe; plus usually cheaper that reptile stuff. [The dog...

Re: Feeding Chicken
Hi, I just fed my hermit crabs their first bit of raw chicken last night. How do I expect them to approach it at first? Are they going to attack it, and devour it, or are they going to take time to get used to it? I got all natural chicken thighs, and diced them into a few bits, which were placed i...

Re: New crab upside down?
Hey all. Just a few days ago I brought home 2 rescues. I didn't want to post about them until I got some pics. They were kept previously in a tank with eco earth sub, about 3 inches in my estimation, not sure if they had access to fresh and msw but I know they couldn't submerge in the water they ha...
