Re: Shell shop
Thanks guys, I will head to Walmart first thing tomorrow. I never even thought about an elevated shell shop.I know that would make the tank look a lot better for sure. You can't even see sound for all of the shows. Oh and I love the New York style crabatat. Too cute

Shell shop
I've noticed that it seems as though almost everybody has a shell shop in their tat. I have about 15 shells in my tank but I just have them spread all around on the sub. Does it matter that I have it that way? I just always feel like it would be hard for them to dig through a pile of shells and find...

Re: What are your crabs up to?
I thought this would be a good chance to see if I got my Photobucket working. My newest addition lemon is still in iso and she has the most hyper crab I've ever known. After reading the forum I came over to see what she was doing she was clinging to a plant that she could no way climb because she's ...

Re: Changed substrate
Awesome thank you guys. One last bit of advice if you don't mind me asking. I'm upgrading to a 20 gallon. Do I get a 20 tall or 20 long? Didn't know there was a difference until getting to the store

Re: Changed substrate
You started adding calcium to their food every night? Or did you start adding calcium sand back in?

Quick please
I have a chance to buy a much larger aquarium for my crabs at a very good price however I am still completely broke so this is a financial hit. The aquarium has a backdrop as it was used for fish. First of all is that okay for the Hermits and second of all will it effects the Uth on the back being p...

Re: Changed substrate
Thank you. I love this site. That makes me feel so much better. I probably would have went back to PetSmart today and bought the other sand for him again being afraid it was hurting him since he's not playing/digging. I am way too over paranoid about these little guys

Changed substrate
I wasn't sure if it would go here or under crab Behavior but since it is due to me changing the substrate I decided on here. Lmk if I'm in the wrong place. I have been using the sand out of the reptile section at PetSmart. Not the dyed sand are the larger grain sand. It just looked exactly like regu...

Re: Missing EXO
Thanks, yeah I searched really thoroughly and can't find anything but I have had her since the beginning of June and this is her first molt. Up until about 5 weeks ago I had never even heard of that word. I decided it might be time to look into getting them some shells and started Googling. I was mo...

Missing EXO
Hi, I am pretty new to crabbing but I am fairly certain that one of my hermies just molted. She had all of the signs of it coming and went down for 32 days which is about the perfect amount of time for her size. She came up quite different looking, larger with very distinct black leg tips and extrem...
