Problem solved with plexi glass he plans to put it on the underside of the lid using glue they use to make the tanks. I will let it completely air out first of course.

I wish i could find a lid been to a lot of pet stores and online. Cant create one out of plastic because my heat lamps sit on the lid. Im thinking or wrapping the wood in plastic wrap and then put plastic mesh over it. Should make the lid safer since they wont be able to get to the wood[emoji848][em...

My niece the real owner thought i had lied about getting them they went down for a molt before she saw them.
Heres hoping he does some more exploring later when shes here.
And she named him saisho which means first probably should have told her when she just got done with her Japanese class
