I'm having the same problem . I just have 3 PP's and I'm sure all of them have molted in the last 3 months . They were active for a while but I have 2 down again . This is Bubba ! He just finished a molt about a week ago . He keeps changing shells every couple of days . He continues to come back to his old shell and then tries out a new one . This happened to my guy a few weeks back . Sounds like a surface molt .

The substrate I think is ok . Just a poor pic but I'm going to double check . The bubblers have been keeping the humidity perfect ..I'm loving that :). I know . When I got them I was helped at the local Pets mart . Unfortunately now that I have them in the 10gal I am afraid to move and disrupt them too much . Space wise I really could not go a lot more then a 20gal . Which would be safest? Upgrading on size of tank or just keeping as is and adding ...

I have a ten gallon with my three crabs in it . I want to add more to my substrate because it is not deep enough. Also I would like to add new pools with bubblers which I would like put below the surface . How can I do this without disrupting my crabs too much ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank you . Crisis averted ! I found him . He tucks really far back into his new shell . He was in the moss pot with his old buddy . Both have emerged !

So I'm not sure the one on the moss was him . Possibly just an empty shell my other one drug in there with him . However the one that molted A week ago is not in his old shell . He's possibly in another (I honestly didn't count the ones inside the tank ) and buried himself or he is naked somewhere ?...

I don't know if he is or not . He's been hiding for a couple of days. I'm so afraid to move them after the last incident . Should I dig anyone out ? He was petty much in when I saw him .
