Re: To give away or to not give away

Sorry I didn't mean I wasn't caring for them. I love them and I make sure they are cared for since they're my babies. Lately other personal issues have been overwhelming me and I feel as if I can't care for them as well as I can be. I honestly think they're great pets and once you have the tank set ...

To give away or to not give away

I didn't know where to post this. I kinda want to give my hermit crabs away but at the same time don't. I don't know if I should be taking care of them or not

Re: What are your crabs up to?

I went outside for once and guess what? I got a new baby. His name is Geronimo and he's exploring his new surroundings. I remembered why I stopped leaving the house https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180602/788d55a4bb1213f76f23b3ca375de063.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180602/ecbe7b640181b2...

Re: What are your crabs up to?

Surprise visit. I was changing the top layer of may sand when this little guy appeared. Its probably Squirt or Tux https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180601/c659a3cb4d26fd8ca82334ddfe01a91a.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180601/c2e6eb85228e88636d592c2c2c147983.jpg Sent from my SM-G950U using...

Loose leaf tea leaves

Would these be safe to feed my crabs. They're caffeine free and organic. I use them for my tea and they are just steeped in boiled water. I feel like it would give the leaves a second purpose if I could feed it to my crabs after I was done using them in my tea. My concern is the water I steep them i...

Re: Lethargic crab

I think she died. She isn't moving at all and won't react when I get near or touch her. I'm waiting till she "smells dead" to confirm and have a proper burial. Thanks for all the advice everyone, unfortunately she didn't make it

Re: Lethargic crab

Minus the almond shaped one, its just light and in the off chance she would choose an oval shaped opening over a turbo

Re: Lethargic crab

I have these that are similar to what you described. All around and smaller than her normal shell. Will they work? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180322/fd721b5ede9e05f36078f1bc53c3a019.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180322/6ab3fc49c32780c848cdf20aeba8c46b.jpg Sent from my SM-G950U using...

Re: Lethargic crab

She's naked. I came home and she's left her shell and is walking around without one.

Re: Lethargic crab

Thank you! I'm concerned though Tamatoa hasn't touched food. I even tried putting in honey last night, a favorite of hers,it remains the same.

Re: Lethargic crab

The substrate is 3 times larger than my largest crab. My largest crab is currently buried. I will try adding healthy fats egg shells. I give them coral calcium along with their cuttlebone but I will add egg shells. Can I feed them scrambled eggs? As in make them their own without seasoning and refri...

If so, where are they located and what temperature and humidity do they usually read? Yes. On substrate 80% humi...
