Re: What is Bonnie?
Nice to see another Ohio crabber, can I ask where you got all these little guys? They're adorable! On the first one I would say scaevola or ruggie because of the antenna. I'm definitely leaning more towards scaevola based on the eyes though. On the second I am not quite sure.... could you get a for...

Re: What is Bonnie?
I'm located in Ohio. Sadly I have no pictures of Clyde but he looked like a stockier version of Bonnie. I also have a small steel blue/grey colored crab named Casper who has the same orange antenna. Sorry that the images are blurry, my phone camera last year was not that great. http://i.imgur.com/iU...

What is Bonnie?
Hello all. I have a question, if I remember correctly when I got Bonnie in 2015 the store had her and Clyde (Unfortunately he passed in '15) labeled as Ruggies. She for the most part has maintained a very peach/cream color over her last couple of molts and her orangeish antenna stalks. I was hoping ...

Re: Low Humidity Woes: Should be solved.
After calibrating my current analog humidity/temp gauges yesterday I found that the one was reading 23% low and the other 13% low, I even double check by leaving them in the salt container overnight. Which means my tank was actually sitting at around 63% humidity most days, still low but now as bad ...

Re: Low Humidity Woes
I was thinking that maybe they have slowly gone bad, though they read the temperature the same way they did before. I currently have analogue gauges, how much do digital gauges normally cost? Unfortunately I am working on a college student budge right now.

Tank Disassembling and Moving
Hello. I am looking at upgrading my hermit crab tank when we have to move apartments in October. One part I am dreading though is taking apart my current tank and having to dig up some of them to move as I know the probability of all of my crabs being up at the time is like 1%. Is there any way to m...

Low Humidity Woes
Hello. I have had my current set up for about two years now and when I first set up the tank the humidity was at 70-80% hovering more at 70%, but now the tank seems to only maintain about 40%-50% hovering more at 45%. The screen lid has box tape on it with the sticky side facing out of the tank as s...
