I see sweet potato on the list for safe. Does that include leaves and branches? Wife has one growing and its getting a bit out of hand.

Re: Tough little one
Currently my substrate is a sand and EE mix, mostly EE. I am getting more sand soon to add to the mix.

Tough little one
This guy I have had for about 4 months. He is a tough little one. He had been in fights before I fot him, damaged legs and BP, bullied by my bigger crabs for a little while and just now was released from a successful surface molt. He isnt the smallest, or the biggest, but he might be the toughest. J...

Sweet Potato
My wife has decided to grow a sweet potato, but the vines are getting a little out of hand. Can I give them some clippings from the plant?

There is a questionare on here but I dont have the link handy maby someone else will get that. The claw being empty could be a surface m...

If built properly it is possible, but plexi scratches easily.

Humans are away crabs will play
Went on a little vacation last week. Before my family and I left I set the crabitat up nice, made sure they had plenty of food, changed the water, gave them stuff to try to keep them selves occupied. Got back and not to my surprise the entire tat was upside down. Hygromiter was dragged off the wall,...

Just realizing
This is Spike. I purchaced this little one over 6 years ago. I just realized he is older than my 5 year old daughter. He prefers the spiky shells as I have seen him change in to other shells, just to go back to a spiky shell later. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170717/6d4ccf0fc22946d75ca141681b...

Re: Crab burried since we got them
Its very common. They are under a tremendous amount of stress from the pet store. This is a way of destressing for them. Its best to leave them be for now. And also remember they are a nocturnal animal so even of they do come up you probably wouldnt see them.

Most of mine hide. Its been about 2 months since I have seen a few of them due to molts and destress. Its a very common thing.

Re: Current setup.
So I was looking on the safe list, and I noticed plums are safe. Does that include the branches too? There is a Japanese plum tree here I was thinking of getting a branch off of.
