Re: Personality Change

Molts seem to reset their brains as well as bodies sometimes. Read your title and was wondering if it was a post molt change and yep, it was. Totally within normal limits, give him some time and he'll relearn you're safe. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk Oh! That is so good to hear, my Bella re...

Re: When Did Live Hermit Crabs Go Bad?

I called my bank today to dispute my order to LHC. Next stop: Better Business Bureau report.

Wish it could have worked out, I really wanted to have Blueberries. Ah well. Guess I'll stick to my Eccies.:

Re: Hamster Wheel

I'm so excited to get one into my new setup that I'll be doing this weekend. I KNOW Blue is going to go bonkers over it. Knowing him, I'll very likely need to get a second one. He doesn't like sharing.

Hamster Wheel

Would someone please advise/is there a recommended size for the wheels, in relation to the crab size? I'm having trouble visualizing wheel to crab ratios.

Hermits are addictive, for sure! Have you heard of Jonathon Livingston Crab? He's been a captive crab since before your original crab...he's my #crabgoal.
I just googled him. OMG #CrabGoals for sure! LOL

Re: Hermies... 1989 vs 2017

Crabs sure are fun, aren't they? I could watch mine for hours! Have you thought about putting in a modified hamster wheel? A lot of folks on here use them, and their crabs love them. It's the funniest thing, watching them walk on a hamster wheel. Since you're getting a 20 gallon, you might have eno...

Hermies... 1989 vs 2017 (new member)

Hi everyone. I've been visiting the forum for a short time now, thought it time to introduce myself. I had hermies back in 1989, they lived for about two years. Fast forward to Feb 2017. I wanted to have a small simple pet to keep in my office at work. Bought a 5 gallon tank and an Eccie who I named...

Re: When Did Live Hermit Crabs Go Bad?

See topic. I made the mistake of ordering from them about a month ago and have yet to hear anything from them, and this am going to cancel my order and have the charges reversed. But basically, when was the last time someone had a good experience with them? I'm in the same situation as you. Ordered...

How to do a topper

Apologies if this isn't the right place to ask, but can someone advise me on how to create a "topper"?

Re: Heating a 10 gallon

The one I have is "Aiicioo 16 Watt Durable Reptile Under Tank Heater 8x12 Inch Seeding Heat Mat Hydroponic Growth Heating Pad" (ordered at amazon). It works quite well, with no heat on in the room, it keeps the tank (10 gallon with glass cover) at 75-80 degrees.

Re: Hermies love masago!

My hermies LOVE this (and the similar Tobiko). I always get a "to-go order" for them when we go out for sushi. :)
