Apologies if this isn't the right place to ask, but can someone advise me on how to create a "topper"?

The one I have is "Aiicioo 16 Watt Durable Reptile Under Tank Heater 8x12 Inch Seeding Heat Mat Hydroponic Growth Heating Pad" (ordered at amazon). It works quite well, with no heat on in the room, it keeps the tank (10 gallon with glass cover) at 75-80 degrees.

My hermies LOVE this (and the similar Tobiko). I always get a "to-go order" for them when we go out for sushi.
