Re: Honey
I serve mine separately from other foods in an individual seashell. The crabs love it. :) Me too! Shell is usually full for 2 days and then completely devoured over night, and a dry sandy shell is all that remains! Theyre such odd eaters. Like, if its not their idea its a bad idea! Haha silly crabs...

Re: Submarine named james23
That's silly. You're not going to get kicked of for not having a big enough tank. But you do need to measure your crab. He might not actually be as big as you think! And there's more to consider, like how many crabs do you have total? If you have just him (and if he indeed is a large not a jumbo) h...

Re: Submarine named james23
If he's a jumbo, he needs at least a 75 gal tank. Jumbos take up a lot of space by themselves but need even more for molting (at least 12" deep substrate) Sent from my HTC6515LVW using Tapatalk Hes not much of jumbo Sent from my SM-T230NU using Tapatalk Please use the size chart to verify his size....

Re: Speaking/chirping but no fights or pain or sufferage
I didn't mean to offend you! I just meant that handling and rearranging the tank can make crabs stressed and perhaps they were chirping back at you. Although, I've never heard of that happening. You did post in the emergency section and ask for help. I was only trying to help. Sent from my SM-G930V...

Re: Speaking/chirping but no fights or pain or sufferage
They were probably mad at you for tearing apart their home. For future convenience , unless you have a flood, bacterial buildup, or mites you don't need to "clean" the tank by replacing the substrate. Some crabbers never do that unless they move, while other suggest doing it once or twice a year. S...
