I just mixed up 1 gallon of distilled water and 1/2 cup of Instant Ocean. How long should I wait to give it to my crab?

I figured. How long should I wait to put the crab in its new environment. It's been 3 hours since I made the sand mixture with hot water.

Cleaning inside tank
I just bought a new 10 gallon tank for my new hermit crab. I just added a natural play sand mixture with coconut fiber 5:1 ratio. Now the inside of the tank walls are dirty from mixing. What is safe to use on the glass? White vinegar water mix?
