My crab Fidget has a terrible smell, has lost all or most of his legs, all I see is his small pincher still attached. He smells so bad. He looks wet or slimey in his shell but he's not falling out. Do I pull him out? I dont know what to do.

the wood should be fine. you just need to be sure the water source is clean.
