Re: What Size Crabitats Does Everyone Have?

I have a 29 G with a 15 G topper since they are the same depth and fit perfectly. This allows me to access both levels. One corner of the 15 G bottom has been cut out allowing access for the hermies. Both levels have a side heating element and the bottom has two pools, one freshwater and one saltwat...

Re: Mixed Sea Shells from Joann

Here is my 3cperience with bagged shells from both JoAnn's and Michaels stores. I've bought from both in-store and online. I've found between 3 to 10 useable turbo shells in each. Re: Semi-Noob here and still learning.

I already have a 20Long with a glass divider. I want to put stones on it the same as you with aquarium silicone sealant. I'm still puzzled as to why everyone says that won't work because aquarium silicone has always worked well in aquariums for over 20+ years. Glass is fine, and will form a waterti...

Re: Semi-Noob here and still learning.

Wow! That is a fantastic tank and similar to what I'm trying to make above my 20Long. I bought a 15Gal and have multiple others to put on top, I just haven't figured it all out yet. I already have a 20Long with a glass divider. I want to put stones on it the same as you with aquarium silicone sealan...

Re: Any of these look ok?

I make sure to soak all hemp/jute cord, seagrass baskets, and wood for climbing/decoration in marine salt water first. Then I either let air dry for a week or I dry in a warm oven with the door ajar because baking it can cause cracks. So far so good at 2 months with no mold. Also, I've bought the bu...
