I GOT MY LEOPARD GECKO!!
I've gone a long way, in a very short time period, and done a great job. (atleast i think, haha). I just got my gecko two days ago, and picked up some insects also. I got some superworms, and some crickets. For now, she has been eating the worms, and has been really healthy. My gecko has been making...

Re: Leopard Geckos!
I got the tank, the light arrived very quickly!
The light, and the heater were installed, and I'm waiting for another package to arrive with more supplies, including the clay.
The bulb I ordered for the light, hasn't arrived either.
It should be coming today, possibly.

Re: Leopard Geckos!
I am planning on ordering from Josh's Frogs, but I'm still trying to find a good breeder. I'll order once I find a good breeder. EXCITING NEWS! I'm going to the petstore today, and picking up the tank! I can't wait until my supplies arrives! It should be coming here, tomorrow, or Sunday. Possibly Mo...

Re: Leopard Geckos!
No, hornworms are hard to breed. They only lay eggs on tobacco and tomato plants, but if the caterpillars hatch and eat those plants they become toxic and cannot be used as reptile food. They are fed a replacement diet that is safe instead. They also grow like weeds so they would only make less tha...

Re: Leopard Geckos!
I forgot to ask, can you breed the hornworms?
They are quite expensive for just 25 of them..
I see the superworms aren't that expensive, though.
Where do you mainly get your hornworms?

Re: Leopard Geckos!
Ah, I have a lot of moss, that my brother uses for his hermit crabs.
I will probably put it in the middle as well, so the cool hide can have the corner away from the heat.
Thanks again, for all the help.

Re: Leopard Geckos!
I got the bag, I wasn't sure what the 'cavern kit' was.
Also, my edit didn't seem to work, but-
If the clay can't get wet, how do you do the 'moist' hide?
Doesn't it have to be wet?

Re: Leopard Geckos!
Alright! Thank you.
Could I make one of their hides out of the clay?
Maybe the 'cool' one?

Re: Leopard Geckos!
Awwww, poor gecko!
That must of been bad for him!
I'll for sure do it by a sink.
Can I touch it..? How do I scape it out?
Do I put it in the tank and wait for it to dry?, or in the container I use?
Thanks for the help!

Re: Leopard Geckos!
Oh, how fun! :D New critters are always exciting. :) Think you could share some pictures once you get your gecko? I'm not big on lizards, or anything that looks like one (we had a blue-tailed lizard in our house once. Our dog tracked it down and alerted us, sweet thing), but I've always like...

Re: Leopard Geckos!
I haven't found a breeder that I liked so far, (near me). Should I order from an online breeder, or should I pick up the leopard gecko myself? I don't want a fancy leopard gecko, I just want a plain colored, and cheaper gecko. I'm trying to aim for a gecko under 40$, do you have any recommendations ...

Re: Leopard Geckos!
They don't climb so the vines would be for your enjoyment more than theirs. The Eco Earth is a big no. Go with a small or medium water bowl rather than a large, and I personally don't bother with a food bowl since they only eat live food and it won't stay in a dish for more than a few seconds. I us...

Re: Leopard Geckos!
Thank you for the response! What light do you use? Can you send me the link to that? I will buy whatever is best for them, if they have the MBD how do I tell? Where is the best place to purchase a leo? Is petstores not the best place, or should I get them from a breeder. I really do want to use dirt...
