Even with lids, some crabs are still manage to escape and climb out. Most important though, it keeps humidity at their desirable.

Hi, I would wait a little more until the hermy falls off the shell. During a my first year of crabbing, I have 3 dead ones. 2 out of 3 are died because of PPS. One down for molting and never came up for over 8 months. If dead, they usually fall off the shell when being picked up. Sent from my SM-G93...

The worms seem to slow down with a temperature change. But they are still there. My crab Eddy was digging out where most worms I can found in my tank. I wonder if he tried to eat the worms...
