My crabs have been buried for weeks with no sign of life. Today, I found a hole to the surface. A good sign, but I was a bad person and didn't have any food out for them. There was water, but the food was molding with them not eating. Didn't seem worth putting it out with no sign of them for so long...

OK, thank you. I haven't been putting food out for them, but watching for them to return. Fingers crossed they are ok.

Got two crabs form pet store. Setup a tank based on recommendations. One crab buried itself the day after we setup the tank. I saw it eating a lot of peanut butter and then it buried itself.
