Re: Eek! Swamped tank/bacterial Bloom and molters

Re: Tips for a topper?
Well, I have a 10 year old son and a 2 year old (not so tiny) pup... I think duct tape would be the way to go for me. Just to be on the safe side lol.

Re: Tips for a topper?
Well, it’s very surprising but I used a simple X-Acto knife underneath the bottom rim to loosen the silicone, and then I cut through around the bottom edges where the large amounts of it are, and then was able to dislodge the rim off the bottom. Then I took it outside, covered the bottom part in a ...

Re: Tips for a topper?
Would you mind sharing how you did it? I've looked up many ways but it didn't work out very well for me. Lol

Re: Rose/flower advice please
This is what I was afraid of... I am aware of some using "tricky words" to describe a product. That's one of the reasons all of this is so confusing, or atleast to me it is. Re: Rose/flower advice please
Thank you both. I have already gone over (and over lol) the safe foods list. Just trying to make sure before I order anything. I'm assuming if it is food grade or safe for humans it is also safe for crabs... As long as it's organic and there are no preservatives... right?? I guess I'm trying to find...

Rose/flower advice please
Just want to double check. Roses for making tea are safe right? They are 100% natural dried, organic, no additives... Also, what other flowers do your crabbies like?

Re: molting concern plz help now!
I would ISO the molter just to be safe. That way noone eats him or steals his shell. Hopefully someone with more experience will be along shortly.

Re: Naked and missing limbs
It may just be the angle, but those extra shells look too big to me. Also if you're not sure about which shell was his you might try some smaller or at least lighter than the one he is in (Along with same size and larger) I'd imagine it's already hard enough moving with just one leg. Just a thought,...
