Update: Sorry I haven't answered anything! It turned out that he was indeed molting, it appears he regenerated the missing chunk of his leg as well so I think that's what he was doing, everything is good [emoji106] Leonardo is just fine [emoji4]

Ok correction! I got a closer look at Leonardo today and he is super pale and weak, he's even missing parts of his limbs, I am super worried about him now and I'm not sure what to do...
