My updated crabitat!

The bottom tank is 20 gal and 10 gal topper(which used to be their old crabitat) here are some pictures. Let me know if you all have any ideas , suggestions or concerns. I want to add more climbing things in the topper. THANKS! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200724/ab3e65a7b091cf6b8b9acadaeebe63...

How to stack tanks

I'm looking to stack a small tank on my 20 gal because its 12 inches high and barely enough for sub depth. People tell me to stack but I'm not sure what they mean. How do I do that?

Re: looking for new crabitat

Well I just upgraded mine to a 20 gallon long. If you want it taller then you need to get a 20 gallon tall. I really like the long one because you get so much more ground space. Then if you get the long you won’t have that much space to climb, so I made an easy topper tank. Using a 2.5 gallon tank ...

looking for new crabitat

Hi! I'm looking to upgrade to a 20 gal. I have a small crab and a medium. I want to have at least 7.5 inches of hight for substrate and I. The problem is, all the 20 gal aquariums are only 12 inches high and that doesn't leave much room. I need some advice . Where do you all get your aquariums/ can ...

Re: Smallest ultratherm

I'm giving my 10 gallon tank to a friend that just purchased 3 crabs on vacation. I'm also giving her some other extra supplies I have. Once there are 6 inches of substrate, it leaves 4 inches of empty space. That gives the dimensions 4"×19" for a heater. There are no ultratherms close to that size...

Re: Safe silicone?

Like everyone else said, there should be no referral to mold resistance, mold inhibitor, mold whatever. I was looking for Silicone most recently as well to reseal a tank. This actually leaves you with very few choices. Most likely, the following types don't have mold inhibitors in their "basic" ver...

Thanks! There is some silicone where the crabs could eat it. Do you think I should cut that off?
