I was wondering whether or not the existing crab was the issue because had a tank mate for about a year when I first got him and had no issues....

Okay, thank you for the help!
Pumpkin
I want to buy a pie pumpkin to give to my hermit crab but I had a few questions about preparing it for him. One should I boil the chucks before I give it to him or is it okay to just give it to him raw? Two can I freeze the chucks so I could give it to him later? Three can I give him the seed and if...

Re: Heating up a crab tank
The tank's temperature is 80 degrees and my room is around 75 degrees. I got my UTH from a site called Bean Farm and they have a chart for what size UTH you should use for different crabitat sizes. Mine is a 6x23.

Heating up a crab tank
I recently upgraded my hermit crabs tank from a 20 long to a 29 gallon tank. I use to use a heat lamp to help with the heat in the tank during the winter time but I am not able to use my heat lamp now due to the size of the tank and where I have it. I currently have a ultratherm heating pad that onl...

Re: Molting?
