Re: Hanging A Net...
I had the same issue with mounting my climbing wall. I found that metal command hooks from a hardware store work much better than suction cups or plastic hooks from a dollar store. The hooks I have now have lasted a month so far and have not fallen off. Also, maybe use several hooks to hang your net...

Re: Possible Molting Disruption
A little late, but thanks for the response. I've moved my new crab into the iso, and he has since eaten, drank and re-burrowed. Do I need to be worried that my one crab will continue to dig up my other crabs as they burrow? I know they're not lacking nutrients or starving, I give them lots of protei...

Possible Molting Disruption: UPDATE
After waking up to a lot of chirping, I decided to dig up my new crab and, lo and behold, theres my missing crab latched on to my new one who I assumed was trying to molt. I removed them both from the hole and managed to coax the one off of my new crab. I immediately moved my new one into the iso ta...

Possible Molting Disruption
1. What kind of substrate is used in your tank and how deep is it? Coconut Fiber, about 4 inches deep. 2. Do you have gauges in the tank to measure temperature and humidity? If so, where are they located and what temperature and humidity do they usually read? Yes, a hygrometer in the top-right corn...

Re: Hardening Time
Why was he in a separate tank? There is no need to isolate crabs to molt. As long as you have enough sub and your tank is not over crowded, the crab should be fine in the main tank. Crabs will stay under ground until they have hardened, and will then come back up to the surface. Ohh, okay. I'm a fi...

Hardening Time
One of my crabs just came up from a molt a few hours ago. Hes drinking like mad and is pretty active. I'm wondering when it would be safe to re-add him to the main tank with the other crabs? How can I tell when he's properly hardened?

Very New Owner
Hi! I got my crabs this past Sunday and I'm very excited! I got three Purple Pincher crabs and name them Shelly, Bilbo and Gunga-Dinn. They were pretty quiet these first couple of days, but were very active last night. I even saw Shelly sizing up some of the empty shells. They seem to be eating, and...
